The UK National GO Awards represent those individuals, teams and organisations that have gone above and beyond normal standards to make real differences to the quality of public services in the UK.
Shortlisted for an entry with client organisation Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) in the ‘GO Best Service Award – Medium and Large Organisation’ category, the panel of judges included UK procurement and commissioning experts Nick Caton, Commercial Director – Wider Public Sector Delivery at the Crown Commercial Service, Sue Moffatt, Commercial Director, National Procurement Service at the Welsh Government and Jim Carter, Transformation Director, Government Commercial Function at the Cabinet Office.
In this challenging climate, de Poel’s partnership with CWP is delivering a range of significant efficiencies that include the reduction of thousands of invoices to just one per week and over 22,000 hours of quality care – with all staff rates within the rate cap. Critically, this is whilst continually delivering the highest standards of patient care across their 65 sites.
Andrew Preston, CEO of de Poel, commented: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for a UK National GO Award, in recognition of our work with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and our panel of agency stakeholders, to provide the very best temporary staffing solutions.
“This follows a recent win in the first ever HSJ Healthcare Partnership Awards for ‘Best Procurement Support/Service’ – and further demonstrates our commitment and aligned vision to drive better value in the supply chain and an enhanced service delivery experience, whilst ensuring patient care remains of paramount importance.”
Winners will be announced in a ceremony on Tuesday 24 April 2018 at the Hilton in Manchester following the Procurex North 2018 event, as part of the UK Festival of Procurement.
